She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvis and Alice Griffith; her beloved husband, Don Layne; her son, Jimmy Don "Fred" Layne; her daughter, Rebecca Layne Slatton; and several siblings; she was raised by, Barney and Callie Nunley.
Patsy is survived by her daughters, Donna K. Kilgore and Jane (Michael) Waters; grandchildren, Michael "Pnut" Waters, Ashley Grayson, Nikki Fazioli, Shawn Kilgore, Ethan Slatton, and Colton Slatton; great grandchildren, Logan Grayson, Landon Grayson, Mason Waters and Lakota Slatton; special family member, Braxton Carter.
Patsy will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and deep love for her family. Her life was a reflection of strength, faith, and compassion. She was a source of comfort and warmth to all who knew her, and her memory will forever be cherished.
Family will receive friends 2PM-8PM, CST, Sunday, June 15, 2025, and 11AM-2PM, CST, Monday, June 16, 2025.
Funeral Service 2PM, CST, Monday, June 16, 2025, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Griffith Creek Cemetery.
