Pat grew up at Spring Branch on the Courtney Flats, south of Ringling. On September 3, 1950, Pat married Emmitt Morris, the love of her life, and together they embraced a shared adventure that took them through various experiences and endeavors. Pat had a zest for life, and her love for travel often led her to visit various casinos, bringing an element of excitement and joy into her days. Many fondly remember the delightful moments spent at their lake house in Lebanon, where Pat cherished time with friends and family, often enjoying music, camping, and fishing. Known for her unique wave around town, Pat also had a soft spot for her pets, frequently indulging them with ice cream from Swans Company. Pat found joy in crafting ceramics, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ringling, where she developed strong bonds with fellow congregants and participated in community activities.
