Four Oaks: Patsy Elaine Salazar, born on May 17, 1946, in Johnston County, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on June 26, 2025, at Clayton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She lived a life filled with fond memories and passions that defined her character and legacy.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks. The service will be officiated by Pastor Eddie White. Burial will follow at Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Four Oaks.
Patsy was deeply devoted to her family, including her husband of 24 years, Juan Salazar. She was a loving mother to her sons, James Wilson Barbour and Dennis Raynor, Jr., who, along with his wife Amanda, cherished every moment spent with her. Patsy found great joy in being a grandmother to her grandchildren: Josh Barbour, William Scott Barbour, Brooke Barbour, Reid Barbour, Hayden Raynor, and Memphis Raynor, as well as to Bailey Hinnant. Her heart expanded further with the arrival of her great-grandchildren: Hunter Hocutt, Lalya Hocutt, Jullina Hocutt, Jackson Adams, Kyndall Adams, and Lily Barbour. Patsy's love for her family was profound, and she will be missed dearly by each one of them.
Throughout her life, Patsy found solace and happiness in simple pleasures. She had a profound affection for watching westerns and a passion for riding horses. A true enthusiast of American muscle, Patsy also adored her GT Mustang, a favorite that symbolized her adventurous spirit.
Patsy is survived by her brother, Terry Walter Barbour, who holds a special place in her family’s history. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Barbour and Melverine Peoples Barbour, and her children, with whom she shared many treasured memories: Jimmy Ray Barbour, Dennis Wayne Raynor, Laura Denise Raynor, and her brother, Richard Keith Barbour.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. in Four Oaks.
Patsy Elaine Salazar leaves behind a legacy of love, and her spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched.
