Patsy Lucille Norris Young, 70, wife of Donnie Lee Young, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Born on September 30, 1954, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Grover Monroe Norris, Sr. and the late Virginia Iola Cook Norris. Mrs. Young was formerly employed with Georgetown Memorial Hospital and later work with Dr. James Edwards. She enjoyed the simple things in life and always enjoyed watching “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Price is Right”. Mrs. Young had a giving heart, and her grandson was the light of her life.
Survivors include her husband of Georgetown; two daughters, April Young of Georgetown and Jessica McRae (Lindy) of Georgetown; one grandson, Jackson Blake Young of Georgetown; one sister, Margaret Burton of Newberry; one brother Grover Monroe Norris Jr. of Georgetown; her fur babies, Jack and Molly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
