Paul Santo D'Agostino, 72, of Bedford, NY, passed away on June 27, 2025.
Paul will be celebrated for his extraordinary generosity, unwavering love for his family, and boundless care for others. He constantly went out of his way to help family and friends-a hallmark of his compassionate spirit.
Born on January 11, 1953, in White Plains, NY, Paul was the beloved son of the late Anthony and Lucy D'Agostino.
Paul shared 37 loving years of marriage with his treasured wife, Susan D'Agostino. The couple raised three wonderful sons and cherished their two grandsons, all of whom brought them immense joy. Paul was a dedicated father who always put his family first.
Family was paramount to Paul. He grew up in an extensive, close-knit family that valued annual reunions, family dinners, and holiday gatherings. As an adult, Paul's exceptional cooking talents became the centerpiece of these special occasions. Derived from a legacy of love and his Italian ancestry, Paul's lasagnas, mini-meatballs, and lemon meringue pies were always favorites.
Dedicated to the arts, photography, and education, Paul worked at Purchase College for over 44 years. He was deeply invested in supporting his students' talents and emerging careers. Though modest about his abilities, Paul was a gifted photographer whose work garnered much admiration.
Paul loved working with his hands and was a true craftsman who could build anything. He poured his talent into renovating the family home, where his artistic touch was especially evident in projects like Susan's in-home art studio. Always generous with his skills, he frequently helped friends and family with their own homes and projects.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Susan D'Agostino; his sons, Michael D'Agostino, Robert D'Agostino, and Brent Turner (Joanna); and his cherished grandchildren, Warren and Grant Turner. He also leaves behind his brother, Thomas D'Agostino, sister-in-law, Shelia Coughlan, three loving nephews, and their families.
Paul's life was a powerful testament to the impact one person can have through love and selfless generosity. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
