Paul "Rick" Harvey Obituary

Paul Richard "Rick" Harvey, 72, passed away at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois, on April 29, 2025.

Rick was born on February 21, 1953 to Frederic and Ona (Lunning) Harvey in Galesburg, Illinois. He was a graduate of Galesburg High School. With his brothers, he co-owned and operated Harvey Bros. Inc. Rick remained with the business until its closing in 2024. 

Rick married Judy Ryan of Peoria, Illinois, on February 28, 1981. In 1985, they welcomed twin sons, Andrew and Patrick. 

Rick was a loving and devoted husband and father, and a good friend to many. He enjoyed fishing, spending time in northern Wisconsin, and being a lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Rangers. 

Rick is survived by his wife, Judy; his sons, Andrew of Louisville, KY and Patrick of Anchorage, AK; brothers, Gary and Fred (Nancy) of Galesburg; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins across the country. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings James, Phyllis, Dale, and Janet.
