Visitation has been scheduled from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday, July 21, 2025 in the Hargrove-Marker Funeral Home, 815 W. Main Street, Jenks, OK 74037. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 22 in the Bixby Cemetery officiated by Rev. Ryan Goodnight followed by a reception at Jenks Methodist Church.
Paula Sue Noyes, a devout Christian and lifetime Jenks resident returned to God Friday July 18, 2025, at the age of 81.
She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma February 27, 1944, to Robert 'Bob' Claypool and Pauline (Conley) Claypool and married Johnnie Steven Noyes November 17, 1961, in Carthage, MO. The two remained married for nearly 47 years before he passed in October 2008.
Paula was a devoted Christian who cherished her Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. She attended Jenks Methodist Church for over 70 years and took solace in knowing the Lord was watching over them.
Paula was also a part of the Jenks School community for over 30 years. She started off driving a bus for Jenks Transportation and later moved into the administration building as an activity clerk. She retired in 2020 to be a full-time Great grandmother but still preceded to work part-time for the Jenks athletic department selling tickets at school events.
She is preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Noyes, parents Robert and Pauline Claypool, Carolyn Ridgeway, Turk, Joann and Jeremiah Adkison and Doreen Cahalan of Houston, TX who she will meet again in Heaven, and is survived by her two sons Robert Noyes, wife Teresa, and Brian Noyes; Six grandchildren Brittany Harvey, Tanner Noyes, Tara Why, Trevor Noyes, Hanna Noyes and Abigail Noyes; Four Great-grandchildren John 'Mik' Hadick, Benjamin Littledave, Eliza Why and Madelyn Sue Harvey. A fifth Great grandchild, Josie Rae will be arriving in November.
