Paula Jeanette Slater, 72, of Sarasota FL, Born December 21, 1952, went to be with Our Lord after a long battle with cancer on October 1st, 2025. Paula is the daughter of Joe L. Tate and Martha J. Tate. Paula was a proud native to Sarasota. She graduated from Riverview High School and Sarasota Beauty School where she became an instructor in cosmetology. Paula led a lifelong career as an exceptional cosmetologist and beautician. Paula loved spending her time in the sun, at the beach, gardening and listening to music. Paula was a dedicated Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan who loved going to Raymond James Stadium with her family. Paula was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Paula is survived by her Husband-Dane A. Keegan, Sister- Debbe Keegan, Children-Son Jason Slater and wife Christy Slater, Daughter- Sarah Hollibaugh and husband Steve Hollibaugh, Grand Children- Madison, Joshua, Chase, Cayden, Daniel, Alexandia, and Aryana. Great Grand Children-Karter and Kameron.
Service will be held November 12th, 2025, at 12:30 PM at The Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72 Sarasota, FL 34241.
