Paulena "Beth" Pandel Obituary

Following a sudden cardiac event, Paulena 'Beth' (O'Neal) Pandel, aged 66, passed into the arms of her Savior whose love she spent a lifetime reflecting to others. The fifth child of Clarence 'Jake' and Paulena 'Polly' (Coverdale) O'Neal, who preceded her along with her three brothers and a son, Jason, she was born on October 11, 1958, in Dover. Brought up in Clayton, she graduated from Smyrna High School in 1976 and went on to complete an Associate's degree from Hagerstown Business College.

A long-time resident of Felton, she recently retired as a paraprofessional for Lake Forest School District following several years as a home daycare provider. A mother and grandmother to many, her life was an example of the impact one person can have when the needs of others are put first. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Brent, two sons, Matt (Carrie) and Jon, two sisters, several nieces and nephews, and dozens of young people who were fortunate enough to be loved by her.

A celebration of life will take place at Greater Impact Church in Greensboro (MD) located at 13699 Greensboro Road in Greensboro on Saturday, August 2, at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning two hours earlier, at 11:00 AM.
