Pauline Mary Jane Beach, 70, of Sabattus, Maine, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on June 1, 2025, following a courageous and unyielding journey through cancer. Born on January 10, 1955, in
Lewiston, Maine, her 70 years were filled with exceptional kindness, compassion, and positivity, profoundly touching the lives of her family, dear friends, and community.
Pauline shared 35 beautiful and devoted years of marriage with her love, Clay Beach. She loved adventures with Clay and their bond was strengthened through peaceful, warm summer evenings on their deck, countless rides along Maine's stunning coastlines, and tranquil drives through the scenic mountains.
She was a devoted and affectionate mother to her beloved daughters, Heidi Torres and Erika Bonin. Family was at the very center of Pauline's heart; nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren will dearly miss their loving grandmother's warmth and joyful presence.
A compassionate soul, Pauline dedicated nearly three decades of devoted service at Central Medical Center, 27 of those years in the radiation oncology department. Her personal history as a breast cancer survivor since 1992 provided her with deep empathy for patients, leading her to passionately advocate for cancer awareness and support throughout her life.
Pauline had a heart for people that radiated brightly into the lives of everyone she met. Her lifelong friendships, especially her remarkable 37-year bond with best friend Cathy Fortin, the enduring friendship since high school days with Irene Wright, and her special cousin Margie Gendron, exemplified her lasting loyalty, empathy, and love towards others.
Pauline retired January 2023, filling her quieter days spending moments of joy and serenity alongside Clay and her beloved pets, including her faithful and ever-present cat, Waldo, who remained devotedly by her side until her passing.
Pauline faced her illness with unwavering faith, strength, and grace. Her profound belief in Jesus Christ shaped her life and brought peace and hope through every trial, reminding all who knew her of the reassuring comfort found only in deep faith.
Pauline is now resting peacefully with Jesus, and for this consolation, we remain eternally grateful. Her gentle yet impactful spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us.
Family and friends are always welcome to honor Pauline's life and memory at her graveside at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sabattus, Maine-a beautiful and serene resting place where Pauline and Clay will forever call home.
