Pearl Virginia Willey, age 93 of Bridgeville, DE passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. She was born in Seaford, DE on August 30, 1931, daughter of the late Charlie and Mildred Parsons.
Pearl was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, where she worked and helped to organize many of the breakfasts and dinners. She had driven a school bus for the Woodbridge School District for many years and took great pride in keeping her home in order. Her family will tell you that she was an excellent cook and her husband Bobby would always find dinner waiting for him when he arrived home from work. Pearl loved to mend and sew clothes, as well as iron. She also loved puzzles, especially her crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Orin Robert "Bobby" Willey in 2019. Pearl was also preceded in death by her sons Jon and Keith Willey and a sister, Betty Williams. Surviving are her daughters, Karen Ratleadge and Lynn Kiser, and sons, Trevor B. Willey and Kevin W. Willey. Also a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Larry and Bev Willey; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild, along with several nieces and nephews.
Pearl family always meant the world to her and she will be missed dearly by them.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Bridgeville Cemetery, Market and Laws Streets., Bridgeville, DE.
