Penny Marie Ward Duncan, a cherished member of her community and beloved by those who knew her, passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on May 29, 1957, Penny spent her life radiating kindness and warmth.
Penny dedicated a significant part of her career to working at the nursing home, where her sweet and wonderful personality left a lasting impact on both the residents and her colleagues. She showed endless compassion to those around her, making each day a little brighter for those she cared for.
Outside of her work, Penny had a deep love for animals. She was not just a cat lover; she opened her heart and home to squirrels, ducks, and dogs as well. Her nurturing spirit extended to all living creatures, and she took immense joy in taking care of her family and her furry friends.
Cooking and keeping a tidy home were also a big part of her life. Penny found happiness in preparing meals and washing dishes, often viewing these tasks as acts of love and dedication to her family.
Among her proudest accomplishments were the joyous moments of her marriage and the birth of her daughter, which brought her immense pride and fulfillment.
Penny is preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Ward, and husband, Robert Wayne Duncan.
Penny is survived by her daughter, Frances Ward of Seven Points, Texas; as well as numerous family, friends, and loved ones.
