Peter Koledo Obituary

Peter C. Koledo died Tuesday, July 8, 2025 after a fearless battle against cancer, in which his faith in God gave him all the strength. He was born in Springfield, VT on November 3, 1939 to John and Helen (Skill) Koledo.
He attended Springfield schools, graduating from Springfield High School, class of 1957.
On September 5, 1964, he married Donna Hall. She predeceased him on March 9, 2000.
He was a founder and co-owner of Valley Carpet and Tile. He later worked and retired from New Jersey Tool.
Peter was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and a life member of the Elks Club.
He was devoted to his wife Donna and their family. His outstanding characteristic was his loyalty to his family.
Peter was an avid baseball player and golfer, a member of Crown Point Country Club.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Koledo and Christopher Koledo, both of Springfield, VT; two siblings: Catherine J. Merrill and Stephen Ankuda, both of Springfield; he has one grandson and many nieces and nephews.
Peter was predeceased by his parents; his step-father, Joseph Ankuda; sibling: James Koledo, Barbara Presler, Thomas Koledo, Frederic Koledo, Mary-Jane Roberts and six step siblings.
Services will be Friday, August 1 at St. Mary's Cemetery at 4PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Silver Towers Camp for disabled kids through the Elks Club, BPOE 1650.
Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, VT is assisting with the arrangements.
