Peter Donald Serri, 65, passed away July 25, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Pete was born October 2, 1959 in Akron to Gene and Joan Serri nee Beesing. He was a 1978 graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School and then attended the University of Akron. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy. Pete loved to travel, especially to the beach. He also enjoyed playing poker, even making it to the World Series.
Pete is survived by his wife of 42 years, Beth; daughters Shvonne, Shannon (Aaron) Berger, Carolyn (Benn) Jenson, Jackie (Robert) Green; grandchildren James, Aidan, Marlee, Colin, Emilia, and London; parents Gene and Joan; brother Geno (Margie); sisters Doreen (Keith) Huntington, Theresa Plappert, and Tina (Joe) Catalano; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his beloved dogs Lola and Frankie.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday July 30 at the Anthony Funeral Home - Falls Chapel, located at 247 Stow Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Humane Society of Summit County in Pete's name.
