Phil as he was known by his family and friends was a retired merchant having owned the Cohen
Dept Store in Lexington.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 10 at 11 AM from the Odd Fellows Cemetery in
Lexington, Mississippi.
Phil is survived by his wife Sara Stein Cohen of Lexington, Mississippi, daughter Sarah Cohen
Corcos ( Elad) of Tel Aviv, Israel, Sons Samuel Cohen of New Orleans, La and Jeffery Cohen (Stephanie) of Charlotte, N C. Phil is also survived by 5 grandchildren Asher Cohen, Emery Cohen, Barak Corcos, Ayala Corcos, and Eytam Corcos

I was stunned and shocked to learn of Phil's death. For several years, I worked at Cohen's Department with Phil's father. And my sister, Elmer cared for his aging mother, Mrs. Joycelyn Cohen. Phil was a very friendly man and he will be missed by all who knew him best.

I´m so sorry to hear about Mr. Phil. He was the nicest person. I loved shopping at Cohen´s. He even gave me a Wrangler Man poster one time because I liked it so much. Lexington lost a truly customer friendly business and merchant when Phil closed Cohen´s. Zikhrono livrakha. Min haShamayim Tenuhamu.
