He was born July 2, 1955 to the late James and Berta; Walker in St. Louis, MO. Phillip graduated from El Cerrito High School in 1973. While attending El Cerrito High School he did very well as a member of the schools track team. Running the 100m, 200m and 4x100 relays. Phillip worked for several years with C H sugar in Crockett, CA. He then worked as a career employee with USPS as a LSM clerk, until he retired.
Phillip is survived by his son Marcel Walker. Siblings, Gloria Walker-Carr, Kenneth Walker (Julia) Duane Walker (Sharon) Darrell Walker (Rosalind) Steven Walker and Ingrid Johnson (Joey) Phillip is preceded in death by his- parents James and Berta Walker, sister Jennifer Walker, brother David Walker, sister Sharon Walker.
At the request of Phillip Walker there will be no public services. Inurnment is private.
