Our family is heartbroken to share that our sweet Phyllis Heath has left this Earth. She passed peacefully, surrounded by love, and we are finding comfort in knowing she lived a long and full life. Phyllis had the biggest heart - always ready to give you a hug or share a story from “back in the day”. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put family first. Her steady kindness, gentle humor, and ability to find joy in the simplest moments are things we will remember most. We will miss her more than words could say but we are so grateful for every moment and every memory we have all shared with her. You will always be in our hearts.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her adoring parents, Jess Hunter and Grace Adams Hunter. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire her family and friends. The memories she created and the affection she instilled in their hearts will remain forever cherished.
She is survived by her loving sons, John Heath and his wife Justi, Gary Heath and his wife Sherry, her grandchildren, Brian Butler, Meagan Duncan, Cody Ray, Chandler Heath, Alden Heath, Calli Heath and Morgan Heath, great-grandchildren Kylye Butler, Emma Butler, Knox Heath, Myles Heath, Baker Heath, and Palmer Brown.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Rhodes, Roy Rhodes, Dennis Rhodes, David Winston, Shane Wingard, and Ernie McElroy.
A visitation will be held on November 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM, both taking place at Buie & Cole Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas.
