Phyllis L. Parks, 78, died in her home on July 25, 2025.

Phyllis was born November 6, 1946, in Auburn, the daughter of Lucien and Mildred (Clark) St. Amand. She grew up in Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1965. She received an associates degree in business administration from the Auburn School of Commerce in 1967.

Phyllis married Roger W. Parks on March 3, 1969 and raised three children.

Phyllis had many jobs over her working career; Knapp Shoe, nurse's aide at St. Mary's and Regional Hospital (now known as Midcoast Hospital). Phyllis started working for Cottles, continued with Brunswick Hannaford Brothers after they acquired the store and retired after 16 years of service. She lived with her son at Fort Meade, Maryland after her retirement.

In 2007, Phyllis started studying with the Jehovah Witnesses. She was a member of the Baltimore Jehovah Witnesses until she moved back to Topsham to be with her daughters. Phyllis became a baptized Jehovah Witness in 2010 and was member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Brunswick.

She is predeceased by her parents, Lucien and Mildred St. Amand. Her sister, Barbara "Jeannie" Hecker and brother-in-law, Gerad P. Hecker.

Phyllis is survived by a daughter, Amy Parks Bisson and her husband, Russell of Topsham, a son, Michael Parks and his husband Tom Kuc of Dade City, Florida, and her youngest daughter, Jennifer Parks Boyko of Topsham; her grandchildren, Makayla Boyko, Ethan Boyko and Abigail Boyko all of Topsham, Melinda Vaughan of Topsham, Ashley Harmon of Lisbon Falls; and two great grandchildren, Jackson and Madelynn Vaughan of Topsham. She is also survived by two nieces and two nephews; and many JW brothers & sisters.

A memorial celebrating Phyllis' life will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 22 Water Street, Brunswick. A reception will follow at the Topsham Grange Hall, located at 47 Pleasant Street.
