Priscilla Edora Hailey, born in Webster Springs, West Virginia on December 1, 1950, passed away on May 29, 2025.
Preceded in death by loving husband, Danny L. Hailey Sr; father, Charles Harrison; mother, Rita C. Harrison (Woods); sisters, Peggy and Penny; granddaughter, Danielle Smeal; and loving uncle, Chilt.
Married 59 years, Priscilla was a loving wife to husband Danny Hailey Sr.; dedicated mother to son, Danny Jr. and daughter, Cathy (Butcher); tenderhearted grandmother to Jessica Ady, Steven Bodner (Baby), Susie Bodner, Danny Hailey III, and 5 great grandchildren. Also left to mourn are nephews, Nick Will, Vic Will, Lee Hailey, Stacey Hailey, Eric Hailey, Samuel Hailey, Gabriel Hailey; nieces, Cindy Will, Athena Hailey; and other family and friends.
Priscilla was a woman of God who lived a life guided by her faith. She enjoyed sharing her life experiences with those around her to support those less fortunate. After Priscilla dedicated her life to raising her children to be successful in life, she dedicated herself to helping others through Hope Homes as a Home Health Aide, where she continued taking care of those who needed help. Priscilla continued her compassion towards others until her health issues had taken over. Even then, she would continue to provide her love to those surrounding her at home during visits and phone calls. Her love for animals and hobbies, feeding her birds, and planting flowers will always be remembered by all. She was known for her fried chicken, paprikash, and too many dishes to list. Priscilla had the purest soul and was one of the nicest people you could ever meet in a lifetime. She taught many how to be patient and thankful for everything in life.
Priscilla will be missed by many and she has left a void in our lives, but we know she is dancing with Danny Sr. and the rest of the family as Heaven gained another Angel.
Family and friends are welcome to visit at Grace Baptist Church (704 N. Firestone Blvd, Akron, Ohio 44306) on June 5, 2025 from 11 AM to 12 PM. Her Funeral will begin at 12 PM with a procession to Greenlawn Memorial Park (2580 Romig Rd, Akron, OH 44320) immediately following where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
