Priscilla Anne Palm, age 82, of Effingham, Illinois passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital in Mattoon.
Private funeral service will be held at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Altamont. Interment will be at Arborcrest Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may go to The Shriner's Association, or the donor's choice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.pagelfuneralhome.com
Priscilla was born on November 16, 1942 in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of Richard and Ruth (Beachamp) Berbaum. She married Daryle Palm, they later divorced but remained close friends until his death. She enjoyed playing bingo, sudoku, and reading. Her greatest joy and accomplishment was raising her girls, and spending time with them and her grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters, Jan-Anne (Timothy) Brauer of St. Peter, Dee-Anne Palm of Effingham, Cheryle-Lyn (John) Goldstein of Altamont, and Dy-Ana Skibbe (partner Kris Ellis) of Philo; grandchildren: Shelby Brauer (fiancé Zachary Fifer), Drese Wright, Dusty Wright, Holly Goldstein, Evalyn Skibbe, Ian Skibbe, Brody Skibbe; great-grandchild: Jensen Fifer, sister-in-law, Linda Stanley; a niece and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ruth Berbaum; husband, Daryle Palm, brother, Richard (Dick) Berbaum, brother-in-law, Kenny Palm, sister-in-law, Nancy Palm.
