Quentin Lemoyne Signater was born on November 15, 1976, to Linda Signater and Michael Hoffman at Pointe Coupee General Hospital in New Roads, Louisiana.
Quentin was baptized at an early and served at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Lettsworth, Louisiana until his death.
Quentin attended Pointe Coupee Central High School where he met his lifelong partner Charmane Waters. To this twenty-six (26) years union, five children were born. Quentin worked at NanYa Plastics as a line worker.
On June 25, 2025, Quentin transitioned from this earthly life to his eternal home at Pointe Coupee General Hospital, New Roads, Louisiana. Quentin's inner spirit was always willing to give to those in need. His heart was filled with love for his family and close friends.
Mourning Quentin's departure, yet cherishing his memories are a lifelong partner, Charmane Waters of Lettsworth, Louisiana, his six children, Travonta Honore, Lamonta Waters, Quinyana Waters, Quintasia Waters, Quentin Waters and Dorianna Waters; his mother, Linda Signater Franklin; stepfather, John Ellisworth (Jackie), brother, John Hoffman (Tomeka); grandparents, Jessie and Doretha Signater; grandchildren, Daylon Waters and Travonta Honore, Jr.; godsister, Latonya Derozan; godbrother, Frank Simon, stepsiblings, Kincha Franklin, Pastor Kevin Morris, Carlos Morris and Donald Morris; uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Quentin was preceded in death by his father, Michael Hoffman, brother, Randall Hoffman; stepfather, Donald Franklin and maternal grandmother, Doris Gauthier.
