Raimarie Kipper was born at the former South Macomb Hospital to Linda and the late Frank Defer. She passed away suddenly on June 30, 2025.
As a professional horticulturist, Raimarie ran her own greenhouse in Capac at her home for a number of years. She took pleasure in gardening and the growing of all things. Raimarie was tenacious, adventurous, and not afraid of new places or things. She was a lover of animals and her loyal companion Lilly, who was at her side for 14 years. Diving into the many passions and hobbies of her surviving children Morgyn and Ayden Kipper, Raimarie enjoyed sewing, baking, crafts, as well as many creative ventures of her own. She was industrious and liked to work with her hands. Seeing the beauty in everything around her, she loved to create wonderful projects out of everyday things.
She is survived by her ex-husband Daniel Kipper and their children, Morgyn and Ayden Kipper; her mother, Linda; siblings, Sharlotte and Frank (Jennifer) Defer; and many nieces and nephews and all of the many people she touched throughout her life.
Raimarie was passionate and always full of energy-she loved to joke, and laugh, and smile, and talk with all of her family and her many great friends.
Today and forever we remember her for inexhaustible courage and will to try again.
The family honors the memory of Raimarie and invites you to visit and share memories Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 pm funeral service at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond.
