Ramon "Ray" N. Grossi Jr, 55, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio has passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. He is the son of Ramon & Dorothy (Bucher) Grossi of Syracuse, NY. Ray graduated from West Genesee High School in 1988 and headed to Ohio to attend DeVry Institute of Technology in Columbus Ohio. After graduating DeVry in 1991, he stayed in the Columbus area working as an Electrical Engineer at a couple different employers in his lifetime. Ray was a boy scout while in high school and enjoyed the camping the most. He also enjoyed a little golf once in a while. He was a coin collector most of his life. Ray was a Senior Member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), Advancing Technology for Humanity. Ray also enjoyed the many electronics conventions he attended from Dayton, OH to Michigan. Electronics was always his passion. Ray was pre-deceased by his mother; Dorothy Grossi, sister; Lynette Grossi, paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents. Ray is survived by his loving father; Ramon Grossi, sister; Sheryl (John) Selesky, nephews; Andrew (Victoria) Selesky, David (Jamie) Selesky & Thomas Selesky. Great nephews & niece; Bradley, Joseph, Nathaniel, Abigail and several cousins. Private calling hours and services were held at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue. Private burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Holy Family Food Pantry, 127 Chapel Dr. Syracuse.
