Randal "Randy" D. Binger, 69, of Redfield, SD, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield, after a short and courageous battle with cancer.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 10, at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield, with family present to accept condolences.

His funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 11, at Tulare United Church in Tulare, SD. Pastor Rey Colón will officiate. Burial, with military honors, will follow the service at St. John's Cemetery in rural Tulare. After the burial, lunch will be served in the church fellowship hall.

Randy was born November 28, 1955, in Huron, SD, to Gerald and Della Belle Binger. He grew up on the family farm west of Tulare and graduated from Tulare High School in 1974. He attended Lake Area Technical School and later joined the U.S. Navy in 1976. After receiving an honorable medical discharge, he returned to the family farm, where he lived until moving to Redfield in 2011.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, reading Civil War books, and visiting with friends, especially with his Leo's Good Food family.

Randy is survived by his siblings: Rick Binger of Tulare, Karen (Jerry Gehring) Kohnen of Aberdeen, SD, Wayne (Doreen) Binger of Tulare, and sister-in-law Sandra Binger of Selmer, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kevin.
