Randolph Ratcliff Obituary

Randolph Bruce Ratcliff II, lovingly known to all as Randy, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 30, 2025, surrounded by the family he cherished.
Randy was a man who lived fully and loved deeply. He had a true passion for cooking and took pride in hosting holidays and birthdays making every gathering special. He also found joy in planning vacations, even a couple for them to enjoy this Christmas, and concerts, creating unforgettable memories with his beloved wife, Gloria, and their two sons, Randy and Joaquin.
Randy never met a stranger. He maintained strong, genuine connections with his countless friends and made each one feel like family.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Aurora Ratcliff and William Ratcliff; father-in-law, Pedro Gonzalez; uncle, C.W. Ratcliff; cousin, Jaclyn Hinojosa; maternal grandparents, Anselmo and Guadalupe Garcia and aunt, Pauline Trevino.
Randy leaves behind his adoring wife whom he spoiled, Gloria Ratcliff, and his sons, Randy, and Joaquin, who were the center of his world. He is also survived by his parents, Josie Ratcliff, and Randy and Kay Ratcliff; siblings and their spouses, who he considered his brothers and sisters, Brandi Ratcliff, Carly Soto/Rick, and Tara Ratcliff/Chris; and his mother in-law Gloria Gonzalez, brothers in-law, Pedro Gonzalez/Sandy, Alex Gonzalez/Kelsi, and Eduardo Gonzalez/Martha.
He was the best uncle to Jordan Cooper, Antonio Cooper, Kylie Soto, Jeremy Soto, Alex I. Gonzalez, Joshua Gonzalez, Christian Gonzalez, Elliana Gonzalez, Teddy Ash, Maria Contreras/Mario, Karla Contreras/Raul and great uncle to Malaki Cooper, Edward Gonzalez, Abigail Contreras, Mariyah Contreras, and Matthew Contreras all who loved and looked up to him.
Randy's light, love, food, and laughter will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 7 at River Pointe Church, 21000 Southwest Fwy, Richmond, TX 77469. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park in El Campo.
Pallbearers Joaquin Ratcliff, Antonio Cooper, Jeremy Soto, Alex Gonzalez, Gary Rodriguez, Pedro Gonzalez, Lalo Gonzalez, and Kalvin Kocian.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Ratcliff, Glen Rodriguez, Terry Fuller, Arthur Washington III, Juan Tijerina and Michael Valadez.
