Randy Lee Phillips, 55, of Russell, Kentucky passed away Sunday morning, October 13, 2024 in Kings Daughters Medical Center. Randy was born May 7, 1969 in Ashland to the late Dexter "Burrel" Phillips and Sarah Roberta Spillman Shively. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by a son Matthew David Phillips, and three brothers, Jerry Boo Phillips, Rex Allen Phillips, and William Dexter Phillips.
Randy was the former City of Worthington Police Chief where he became friends with many first responders over the years. He attended the Wurtland Church of God where he became close to God and met many new friends that loved him. He enjoyed collecting trains, riding his motorcycle, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish Randy, are, his fiancé Angie Rayburn, his daughters, Natasha Renee Phillips, Ashley Nicole Prichard, Kayla Dawn Phillips, Randa Cheyanne Phillips, two brothers, Michael Phillips, Charlie Phillips, one sister, Debbie Sanders, and his precious grandchildren, Aiden Partin, Caydence Phillips, Sylas Phillips, Kendra Douglas, Ethan Douglas, Carter Marcum, Paxton Marcum, Xander Marcum, Brooklyn Vance, Haleigh Duncan, and McKenna Duncan, and two step children, Isabella Rayburn and Andrew Rayburn.
Visitation for Randy will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Music Family Funeral Home. A graveside service for Randy will be held the following day October 16th at 2:00 pm at the Harris Creek Cemetery in Bradford, Oh.
Online Condolences may be offered at www.mfhfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Music Family Funeral Home in Greenup.
