Robert "Randy" Ross, age 63, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, leaving a legacy of compassion, humor, and unwavering love for his family.

Born June 14, 1962, in Cape Girardeau to the late James Edward Ross and Teddy Joyce Ross (Hughes), Randy lived a life rooted in service and care.

A graduate of Jackson Senior High School, Randy earned his LPN license and dedicated over two decades to nursing in the Cape Girardeau area. His gentle nature, steady presence, and selfless heart left a lasting impact on countless patients and families.

Randy is survived by his children, Joe Lambert, Tanya Burdine, and Nikki Ross (Tim Crader); his beloved grandchildren: Logan, Charlotte, Andrew, Brayden, Damion, and Dominic; his brothers, Tony Ross (Kimberly) and Darren Ross (Beverly); former wife and mother of his children, Penny Ross (Spinks), who remained a meaningful presence in his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Joyce Ross; his brother, Mike Ross; and his son, Rob Ross.

While his absence leaves a deep ache, there is comfort in knowing he is now reunited with those he loved so dearly.

Randy will be remembered for his quick wit, generous spirit, and the deep love he held for his children and grandchildren. His life was marked by quiet strength, resilience, boundless humor, and a heart that always made room for others.

Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, July 26, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. Samantha Savat and the Rev.
