Raymond J. Escobedo, age 70, of Midlothian passed away June 25, 2025.

Preceded in death by his parents Juanita (nee Delgado) and Trinidad Escobedo; and brothers Joseph and Jesse Escobedo.

Beloved husband of Michele "Sue" (nee Jurich) Escobedo; loving father of Jennifer Escobedo; proud grandfather of Natalie; dear brother of Mary Escobedo and Carmen (Pascual) Sandoval; caring uncle of Trina Oglesby, Ashley Pointer, Jessica Sandoval, and Marivel Sandoval; great-uncle, cousin & friend to many.

Ray was a devoted parishioner and volunteer at St. Augustine Parish. He found joy in playing pool at Pocket's, collecting and trading cars, and traveling-Las Vegas being a favorite destination. He also loved going out for a good meal. Above all, Ray cherished time with his family, especially when it came to doting on his beloved granddaughter, Natalie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Visitation Sunday June 29, 2025, from 2 - 6 PM at Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147th St. Midlothian, IL 60445. Funeral Monday June 30, 2025, 9:30 AM prayers at the funeral home going to St Christopher Church - St Augustine Parish for 10 AM Funeral Mass. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery - Hillside, IL.
