Raymond Edward Lawson Jr, 60, of Friendswood, TX passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, IL.
Raymond was born on November 26, 1964 in Houston, TX. to Raymond Lawson Sr. and Louise Ann (Eversole) Lawson.
Raymond was a member of the Community Transformation Church of Houston, TX. He worked in construction as a crane operator, rigger and heavy haul truck driver. A veteran of The US Army who served from 1985-1988. Always genuine, ambitious, charming with a huge sense of humor that made everyone around him laugh. Raymond loved playing guitar, taking road trips on his motorcycle and loved living life to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife, Rita; three children, David, Samantha and Joey; two sisters Therese San Miguel and Anna Marie Tellez; and 10 grandchildren: Azalea, Deavon, Evangeline, Isaiah, Isaac, Urijah, Hannah, Miranda, Jordan and Izaél who all will cherish his memory.
There will be no formal services.
