It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Anton Machacek, who left this world on September 10, 2025, at Paradigm At The Oak in Schulenburg, Texas. Born on August 18, 1956, in Shiner, Texas to Emil Machacek and Milada Matula Machacek. He was a highly-regarded member of his community and a cherished family member.
Raymond devoted a few years of his life to his career at Kasper Wire Works in Shiner, where he was known for his diligence and dedication. His life took a challenging turn following a tragic traffic accident that left him unable to independently care for himself. Despite these difficulties, Raymond maintained his unwavering faith in the Lord, reflecting the strong Christian values instilled in him during his education at Catholic schools.
A kind and gentle spirit, Raymond was characterized by his giving heart. He thrived on the love and warmth of family gatherings, especially during the holidays, when he would cherish every moment shared with his loved ones. His nurturing nature and smile will be sorely missed.
Raymond is survived by his loving sisters, Mary Ann Machacek of Shiner and Virginia Kristek (Anthony) of LaGrange, along with his supportive brothers, Emil Machacek of Moulton and John Machacek (Linda) of Moulton, sister-in-law Marsha Machacek of Moulton, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his devoted parents, Emil and Milada Matula Machacek, as well as his brother, Jimmy Machacek, with whom he shared a special bond, and his first sister, Mary Ann Machacek, and sister-in-law Joyce Koncaba Machacek.
Raymond Anton Machacek will always be remembered for his kindness, faith, and the joyous times he spent with those he held dear. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
