Raymond Boyd "Skeeter" Rutan III, 53, of Yorkville, OH passed away on December 31, 2024 at home. He was born on May 4, 1971 to the late Raymond Boyd II and Hazel (Moore) Rutan.
He worked at Wheeling Downs Race Track and Gaming in Wheeling WV as a Track Maintenance, he was a big Steelers and Buckeye Fan.
He is survived by his wife Kim Dawn (Smith) Rutan, six children Amber (David) Patterson of Martins Ferry, Raymond Boyd Rutan IV (Kayla Domyan) of West Alexander, Haley Rutan of Martins Ferry, Margaret Thompson of Dillonvale, and Timothy Cross, three step children Charles Krieger, Brittany Krieger, both of Martins Ferry, Wade (Ann Marie) Sperringer of Wheeling, two sisters Tina Rutan (Chris Berka) of Bellaire, Wendy Wyatt of Martins Ferry, one brother Kenny Rutan of Martins Ferry, and 12 grandchildren, and his loyal companion Ziggy that passed away a year ago, Ziggy was always there ready to cuddle with his buddy Skeeter.
There will be no services at this time. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
