Rebecca Diane Davis 82, of Maggie Valley went to her eternal home on August 11th, 2025. She was born on July 3rd, 1943 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Herman Herring and Maurine Chandler Herring. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Rebecca Griffiths.

Diane was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother loving known as Fifi. She brought warmth and love to every part of her life. She had a passion for quilting each one a small reflection of her gentle spirit and cheerful heart. Diane was known for her quilting, especially with REACH. For the last 20 years she and her quilting family have created handmade quilts for Christmas presents for the children. Diane also enjoyed reading and was a member of the Haywood County Book Club. Another one her favorite past times was to go driving on the Parkway in her VW convertible. Diane loved gardening, playing golf and enjoyed being round people. Her love, laughter, and traditions will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Left to share her memories is her loving husband of 23 years although they have been together for 35 years Allen Wilbur Davis and her son Charles Baragona and her stepchildren Lisa Hollifield (Shane), Margaret Davis, Michelle Barker and one son-in-law Brian Griffiths. Her grandchildren Erin, Evan, Colby, Spencer, Vaughn and Jiana, and four great grandchildren Eliana, Oakley, Maci and Eden Joy, One sister Beth Knight (Chet) including nieces and nephew along with many friends that she loved dearly.
