Rebecca "Becky" Elizabeth (Reber) Ellafrits, age 76, of Lakeview passed away at her home on June 30, 2025. She was born in Cadillac on September 25, 1948, the daughter of Karl and Lorene (Wynce) Reber. Becky was raised in the Marion area until the family moved to Lakeview where she graduated from high school with the Class of 1966. During that time, she met the love of her life, John Ellafrits, and they were married on December 17, 1966. Because of her great love of animals, Becky was employed at various veterinarian offices for many years. She loved country music, attending concerts, being outdoors and caring for her beautiful flower gardens. More than anything, Becky loved spending time with her family and put her whole heart into loving them and everything she did.
Becky will forever be missed and is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, John Ellafrits; sons, Jim (Deanna) Ellafrits, David (Rae Carlson) Ellafrits; grandchildren, Lynnsey (Ryan) Cordes, Rory (Madelyn) Ellafrits, Shay Ellafrits; great-granddaughter, Iris Ellafrits; sisters-in-law, Sharon Seys, Sue Brockschmidt; brother-in-law, Dick (Joan) Ellafrits.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Lorene; brother, Kevin Reber; brothers-in-law, James Ellafrits and Wade Seys.
The family would like to give a special Thank You, to Corewell Health Hospice for their excellent care and support.
No services are planned at this time.
