Rebecca Tuck Wilmouth, 91, of Drakes Branch, Virginia passed away Friday, April 19, 2024. She was born December 18, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Buck Tuck and the late Mamie King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Clarence Wilmouth and Charlie Wilmouth; sisters, Louise Irby, Lucille Newcomb, Daisy Temple, and Helen Chappell; and brother, Arthur Newcomb.
She is survived by her children, David Newcomb (Beverly) of Skipwith, Evelyn Jones of Chase City, Shirley Liles of Clarksville, James Wilmouth (Sherri) of Tennessee, and Hurley Wilmouth, Sr. (Cindy) of Drakes Branch; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Herbert Newcomb (Mary) and Garland Newcomb (Pat); and several nieces and nephews.
Rebecca was very loving and giving and well loved by everyone she knew. She loved taking care of all of her family and enjoyed watching Westerns.
The family will receive family and friends on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Christian Church Cemetery.
