Renise “Rennie” Deloree Lloyd, 61, of Folkston, GA passed away at her home Saturday, January 11, 2025. She was born February 25, 1963, in Atlanta, GA to the late Frank Harris and Lydia Alene Carter Nelson. She was a faithful member of Rehoboth Christian Fellowship. Mrs. Rennie spent many hours at Folkston Elementary as a substitute teacher and volunteer. Her greatest passion, other than serving the Lord, was the time she spent with her “littles” at the school and as a Sunday School Teacher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson: Timothy Andrew Lloyd; her stepfather: James L. Nelson, Sr. and a brother: James L. “Jimmy” Nelson, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 41 ½ years: Timmy Lloyd; a son and daughter-in-law: Scott & Sarah Lloyd; her grandsons: Timothy Ryan Lloyd, Gabriel Phillips and Zaiden Lloyd; 2-sisters: Teresa (Torin) Romasco-Togut and Connie Nelson and a brother: Allen (Elise) Nelson and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Rehoboth Christian Fellowship Church. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Rehoboth Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Lisa King officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Mary’s, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
