"I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live."

- John 11:25

With hearts full of faith and hope in the promise of the resurrection and eternal life,

the Jreisat Family and the Salman Family, along with the extended Makhamra and Sweis tribes, and their relatives in Jordan and abroad, announce with deep sorrow and profound regret the passing of:

Riad Karam Jreisat (Abu Alam)

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sabah Hayel Sweis, and his cherished children; Alam and his wife Sandy Hanoosh, Dr. Ali and his wife Dr. Luvenia Sayegh, Dr. Jeries and his wife Dr. Sally Salman, and Irean and her husband Samir Rabat

His memory is also carried by his siblings, the late Riyad Jreisat, the late Sager Jreisat, Jawaher and her husband Neshan Jreisat, and Jawhara, wife of the late Youssef Shaaban

In a tragedy that has deeply shaken our hearts, we also mourn the loss of our angel,

Alya Jeries Riad Jreisat, beloved daughter of Dr. Sally Thaher Salman.

Riad and his granddaughter Alya both entered eternal rest on August 3, 2025, in the United States.
