Richard T. Archibald, age 79, of Peoria, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Accolade of Peoria.
Richard was born on March 6, 1945 in Litchfield, IL to the William and Mary (Leonard) Archibald. He married Shari Kelly on June 26, 1993 in Lacon, IL.
Surviving is his wife, Shari; his children, Amy (Jose) Figueroa of Springfield, IL, William Archibald of Pekin, IL and Bradley (Yuka) Archibald of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Brandon, Christian, Joseph, William, Megan and Mateo; his sister, Georgia Grisiolia of VanAlstyne, TX; one niece and four nephews; and his fur-baby, Melissa. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant granddaughter.
Richard was a truck driver and drove a tour bus for many years.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 1pm at LaPrairie United Presbyterian Church with Randy Kelly officiating. Memorials in Richard's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
