It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Bayless Hipple, of Kirkwood, PA, who left this world on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on January 11, 1957, in Havre de Grace, MD, Rick was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend who lived life to the fullest.
Rick was a proud partner with McCoy Motor Company, Rising Sun, MD, working as an auto wholesaler. where he left a mark with his dedication and expertise. He had a passion for motorcycles, working on cars, and enjoyed nothing more than camping, cutting wood, and spending time in the mountains. Whether he was stocking up on supplies at BJ's or Costco, Richard loved the simple pleasures in life. His greatest joy was spending time with his daughter and granddaughter.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Autumn Strohmaier of Landenberg, PA; dear granddaughter, Olivia; his parents, John and Mary (Witherspoon) HIpple of Rising Sun, MD; and siblings, Terry Hyland (Walter) of Port Deposit, MD, Debbie Housekeeper (Larry) of Nottingham, PA, and Greg Hipple (Linda) of Colora, MD. He cherished his family deeply and will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held at Crouch Funeral Home P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
Join us in celebrating Richard's life, sharing stories, laughter, and all the things that made him such a unique and wonderful person.
