Richard Piccoli, 77, of Hyde Park, New York died on Monday, June 23 in Hyde Park.
He was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and was the son of Vincent and Margaret Piccoli. He graduated from Franklin Delano High School and earned an Associate's degree from Dutchess Community College. He worked as an Office Manager at Great Eastern Lithographic Company for 41 years. He was married to his wife, Susan, for 55 years.
Richard enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, gardening, going to baseball games, museums and concerts, walking his dogs, cooking special meals like Jambalaya and Easter pie and taking family vacations to Cape Cod, Canada, California and Montana. He supported his children's interests in studying dance and music and attaining their advanced degrees in education and business.
Richard is survived by his wife, his daughter, his son, his son-in-law, his sister, two brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
Calling hours will be from 2:00-3:00pm on Monday, June 30 at Sweet's Funeral Home, Rte. 9, Hyde Park, New York.
In lieu of flowers, the Piccoli family respectfully requests memorial donations to The Seeing Eye (guide dogs for the blind) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
