Ricky Leon Walker, age 67 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away September 25, 2025 at his home.
A graveside memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2025 at Dora Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
Ricky was born November 20, 1957 in Mesa, Arizona to Johnnie Murel Walker and Katheryn Geraldine (Abbott) Walker. Ricky was raised in Chandler, Arizona but moved with his family to Konawa in 1972. He graduated from Konawa High School, and he worked in the Oklahoma Oilfields. He was most proud of his 23 years of work at the Konawa Housing Authority. Ricky really liked to fish and went as often as possible.
He is survived by (all of Oklahoma) his daughter, Stacy Lea Walker; son, Ronnie Gene Walker; sister, Janetta Rogers; brother, Alan Ladd Walker; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and many family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Katheryn Walker; and a brother, Clinton Robert Walker.
