Robert Blair Obituary

Robert Morton Blair passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 98. He was born on February 28, 1927 in Charleston, Illinois to R. Maxwell Blair and Montaigne V. (Morton) Blair. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy. Robert spent his career as a self-employed roofer and pest control operator. This loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend will truly be missed. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Brandenberg Blair and his daughter, Janet Blair Tucker. Survivors include his second wife, Joan Samse Blair, daughters, Terry Wall, Trudy Mansfield and her husband, Thomas, and Beth Wleczyk and her husband, Paul; grandchildren, Danny Wall, Jimmy Wall and his wife, Michelle, and Tony Wall and his wife, Dawn, Maggie Graye and her husband, Mase, Joe Tucker, Liz Tucker, Kim McCoun and her husband, Kevin, Thomas Mansfield and Margaret, Nicholas Wleczyk and his wife, Taylor, Neil Wleczyk and his wife, Angelina, Nathan, Nolan and Noah Wleczyk; great grandchildren, Marylou Graye, Avery Wleczyk, Gregory Graye, Rylie Wleczyk, Eden McCoun, Annabelle Graye and Thomas Mansfield. A service celebrating Robert's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
