Robert Alan "Bob" Brihan, 71, passed away June 25, 2025 in the Critical Care Unit at Aspirus St. Luke's in Duluth, MN. Bob was born in Cleveland, OH on February 1, 1954 to Robert and Irene (Judge) Brihan.
The family moved to the Twin Cities in the early 1970's. Bob graduated from Benilde-A Benedictine High School in 1972 and attended college at University of Minnesota-Duluth. Chef Bob started his career at Cronstrom's Supper Club where he met his future wife, Ann Andrews. They were wed on September 20, 1990 in Superior, WI. He worked for Dina at Eddie's Famous Ribs for 30 years until retirement.
Bob enjoyed volunteering his time with the John Beargrease Sled Dog Association. He loved the outdoors and took great pride in gardening and his yard. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.
Bob has two sisters and two brothers, Karen (Paul) Schrooten, Ak, Marybeth Brihan, Hartford, CT, Jack (Patty) Brihan, South Windsor, CT, and Jim (Jane) Brihan, NH; several nieces and nephews; and faithful canine companion, Benjamin Alan Brihan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life for Bob is planned for Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Eddie's Supper Club, 5221 E 4th Street in Superior.
