He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Cole; son, Robert Christopher Cole; daughter, Lindsay Theresa Aker (Kevin); and sister, Barbara Ann Mellor (Joseph), and beloved family and friends. He also leaves behind his four grandchildren Alexandra Aker, Asher Aker, Norah Cole, and Lucy Cole for whom he was incredibly proud.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Barbara Cole.
Cremation followed his death. The family plans a private celebration of life to be held at a later date. Letters of condolence can be sent to the family via www.burbagefuneralhome.com. Arrangements are in care of The Burbage Funeral Home, Berlin, MD.

Such a shock to hear. I was intimidated by Bob, until I saw him smile. Becky and I have fond memories of Bob and Pat together. They opened their home and their hearts to us and we are thankful. You and the kids are in our prayers Pat. Love you.

I worked with Bob at the casino he was the most amazing caring kind awesome man. he always had a smile on his face. One of the best people. He will be greatly missed by everyone at the casino my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
