Randall & Roberts Funeral Center - Westfield Rd.Robert C. Collevechio, 73, of Carmel, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2025 at The Restoracy of Carmel. He was born on July 6, 1952 to Mario and Lillian (Splender) Collevechio in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Bob was a graduate of Concord High School in Wilmington, Delaware and received a B.S. in Business Administration from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania where he played lacrosse, wrestled & was a member of TKE Fraternity. He worked in Human Resources for a number of different companies throughout his career taking him and his family to Syracuse, NY, Indianapolis, IN, Dayton, OH, and Bethlehem, PA. He had a passion for people that was reflected not only in his profession, but in his service to organizations through the years including the Boys & Girls Club of Zionsville, the Kiwanis Club and The Children’s Home of Easton, PA.
Bob and his wife, Sara, enjoyed a few years after retirement at their home on Lake Wylie, SC before moving back to Carmel to be closer to family. He was known for his bright smile and the ease at which he was able to turn any stranger into a fast friend. Bob enjoyed golfing, traveling, playing cards, and being ‘Pops’ to his 6 grandchildren. He was probably happiest when on the water, and loved his time spent boating on the St. Lawrence River, in the Caribbean and on Lake Wylie. Lots of great memories created while at sea!
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 48 years, Sara Faber Collevechio; daughter, Rebecca Jane (Kyle) Applegate; son, Scott Richard (Katie) Collevechio; grandchildren, Charlie Collevechio, Sam Collevechio, Julia Collevechio, Simon Collevechio, Cole Applegate, and Cora Applegate; and brother, Richard (Jenny) Collevechio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.
