Robert Conley Obituary

Robert William Conley was born on July 28, 1968, in Leavenworth, Kansas. He was graciously raised by his grandparents, Lewis and Betty Reed. Robert grew up and attended school in Lenox, later earning his G.E.D.
As a young man Robert worked a variety of jobs, including hog farms and maintenance jobs. In March of 1992, Robert was united in marriage to Karen Jean Holcomb. From this union came two children – Christopher and Ashley. Robert and Karen later divorced. He then began working at Wellman's Dynamics for some time before becoming a traveling welder. In 2006, Robert began a relationship with Chyla Shivers and had a son, Aidan. Before his health declined, Robert drove trucks and was a maintenance mechanic at Cargill in Nebraska.
In his free time, Robert enjoyed the outdoors through fishing and hunting. Whether he was alone or spending time with his family, he lived his life to the fullest. He will be remembered as a strong provider for his family and instilling a good work ethic in his children. Robert loved his grandchildren very much and even enjoyed some of the mischief they got into. He also enjoyed spending time with his sister, Gina, and nieces and nephews at cookouts at Gina's house.
Surviving Robert are his children, Ashley Conley and Aidan (significant other Lizette Avalos) Shivers, both of Creston; sister, Gina (Adam) Lutz of Sidney; grandchildren, Jaden Conley, Jayleigh Hinds, Amara Kibbe and Noah Conley; along with numerous family members and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Lewis and Betty Reed and his son, Christopher Conley.
