Robert Charles "Chuck" Croutch, 75, of Edenville, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at his home. He was born August 19, 1949 in Midland, son of the late Robert A. and Ruth E. (Dennis) Croutch. Chuck was a hard-working man and proudly enjoyed pouring concrete for over 50 years. He loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, and even mowing the lawn. Chuck always liked antique and classic cars as well as hotrods. He loved going to Figure 8 and Demolition Derbies or going to Coleman to watch the Rod Benders Street Association do burn-outs. Chuck was a Christian man with great faith in the Lord. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather who truly enjoyed making people laugh and spoiling his grandchildren. Chuck will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his children, Troy (Eliane) Croutch, Danny (Bridget) Croutch, Becki (Barry) O'Driscoll, Dale (Mariah) Altman, and Bob (Kaylee Bordner) Croutch; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and siblings, Roseanne Bowers, Dennis Croutch, and Marty Croutch. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his son Terry Croutch and his brother Gordy Croutch.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial to celebrate Chuck's life will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Chuck's family. All of us at Ware Smith Woolever are honored the Croutch family has entrusted us with the care of their loved one.
