Robert Wayne Davis, 74, of Bridgeport passed away following an extended illness on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at his residence with his family by his side.
He was born in Bristol, VA on September 28, 1950, a son of the late Paul and Bella Gendreau Davis.
Hs is survived by his wife, Diane R. Crites Davis, whom he married on September 27, 1985.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa Davisson and her husband Chuck of Bridgeport and Carri Conley and her husband Chris (C.P.) of Clarksburg; three grandsons, Alex Davisson of Bridgeport, Zane Conley of Clarksburg and Aiden Conley of Clarksburg; two brothers, Gary Davis of Matoka, WV and Glen Davis and his wife Tammy of Princeton; two sisters, Pat Underwood and her husband Steve of Roanoke, VA and Connie Davis of Princeton; his mother-in-law, Lillian Crites of Bridgeport; his favorite sister-in-law, Marsha Farkasovsky and her husband Bob of Charleston, SC; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and his fur baby Lucky.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Davis, Jr., one sister, Donna Adkins; and his father-in-law, Elmer Crites.
Robert was a 1968 graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School. He was previously employed at Kitt Energy in Philippi and AGC (Fourco) Flat Glass, having retired as a sales associate at Home Depot.
Robert was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, WVU Football and Nascar fan. He enjoyed woodworking, attending his grandsons' sporting events and family gatherings and loved his fur baby.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Robert's name to the Bridgeport Challenger Baseball League, 39 Windsor Drive, Bridgeport, WV 26330.
