Robert Scott McCarty was born on May 10, 1979, in Trenton, Michigan. to Deborah K. Farris & Robert S. Perry. He passed away on Thursday July 3, 2025, at MO Delta Medical Center, at the age of forty-six years one month and twenty-three days.
Preceding him in death was his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Rob was loved by so many and anyone that knew him knew he had a huge heart. His family always came first. He had a sense of humor that would keep all those around him laughing. He hated to be the center of attention, but any gathering was never complete until Rob made his grand entry.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog Millie, playing video games, collecting Star Wars, GI Joe, other action figures, guns and driving his Camero.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Debbie Starnes and Tricia Perry, Dad, Robert S. Perry and Earnie Starnes, sister Amy Stover, bother in law Neil Stover, sister Danielle Gist, brother-in-law Chase Gist, brother Drew Perry, sister-in-law Bridget Perry, sister Crystal Perry, a host of Aunts and Uncles and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted Tuesday July 8, 2025 at 1:00 P.M at DeLisle Funeral Home with Rev. G.L Keene Officiating burial followed in the Mounds Park Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers: Neil Stover, Kamren Mowery, Christian McCarty, Wade Mowery, Fred Hartman & Drew Perry
Honorary pallbearers: Robert S. Perry, Earnie Starnes, Carlos Valdez, Chase Gist, Jase Gist, Carson Stover & Hubert Harris.
