Robert Mendez Obituary

Robert Nicholas "Robbie" Mendez, 25, of Oceanport, New Jersey, tragically passed away on July 6, 2025, following a car accident. Born on November 26, 1999, in Red Bank, New Jersey, Robbie was a beloved son, big brother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.
A graduate of Holmdel High School and Brookdale College, Robbie went on to complete his studies at Radiology School. His sweet demeanor, generous spirit, and natural ability to engage in conversation made him a cherished friend to all. Robbie's thoughtful nature and willingness to help others were at the core of his character.
Robbie had a deep love for his family and found joy in traveling the East Coast, from Florida to Virginia, and closer to home in Middletown and Holmdel. He treasured the time spent visiting his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins up and down the East Coast and was happiest when surrounded by family. He loved playing video games, touching hundreds of lives along the way, watching movies, or simply lending a hand to whomever needed it.
Robbie is survived by his parents, Kristi Mendez, Robert Mendez and his partner Kelly; his siblings, Noah and Sarah; his grandparents, Ines Mendez, William and Sharon Schmidt; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who adored him deeply.
A viewing will be held on July 11, 2025, from 6:00-9:00 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Robbie's life will take place on July 12, 2025, at 10:00 am at Tower Hill Church in Red Bank followed by a burial service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
There will be a repast to celebrate his cherished memory, generously hosted by the Eskandarian family at 21 Waterford Way, Lincroft NJ.
