Robert Parnell Obituary

Robert Parnell, 84, of Ravenna, passed away Thursday July 10, 2025 at his home. On October 26, 1940 in Memphis, Tennessee, Mr. Parnell was born to the late Robert Parnell and Priscilla (Wheeler) Lloyd. He has lived in Ravenna since 1988, was formerly of Akron, retired from the PMC Company in Ravenna and was a veteran of the US Air Force. His hobbies included golfing, bowling, grilling, fishing and in his younger days, enjoyed hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son and siblings Jean Hampton, Lorraine Robinson and Joseph Parnell. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Louise (Gibson) Parnell , whom he married April 13, 1990, his children Marprisa (Marcus) Mariner, Robert (Janice) Parnell, Jr., Marchele Parnell, stepson Todd (Julianne) Wright, grandchildren Marquis, Markayla, Marissa, Sierra, Sydney, great grandson Nolan, and sister Doris Neloms. Calling hours will be Tuesday July 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral services at 11:30 AM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.
